I didn't realise that you can't remove Securom without a re format; is this

Sorry to reply to my own post, just realised the brief article is wrong, the
action is correct and does not allege that Spore "completely wipes your hard
drive".

Except they cracked Spore before it was released, so they don't care about
the DRM. The hacking crews, or whatever they're called, enjoy breaking the
DRM and being first to "market" with a working cracked version is a matter
of pride (at least it used to be, not sure if they still do all that now).

EA sucks big time, but unfortunately they have some of the best arcade
racing titles . I hope someone buys the rights to those titles so the
fascist management will no longer get a dime, and the games (hopefuly)
won't be encumbered with draconian management.

Let EA die, and let the game programmers and titles live on.
