Using Memory Stick Pro with a Sony Vaio GR370 Laptop

Using Memory Stick Pro with a Sony Vaio GR370 Laptop

I've just purchased a memory stick pro card for my new digital camera, and I
would like to use it in my Sony Vaio GR370 Laptop. The laptop works fine with
the older Memory Stick media (up to 128 MB), but does not seem to have support
for the new Memory Stick Pro media (256 MB and larger). However, there is an a
driver available on Sony's web page for Memory Stick Pro on some Vaio Laptops,
but it does not include the GR370.

I was wondering if anyone has tried to get Memory Stick Pro to work on this
computer (with the built in reader :) ), and if so what success they have had.

Thanks,

Jay

I haven't tried the memory sticks at any stage, but when the Diskgo USB
sticks came out first, I bought a 256MB one, and the Vaio wouldn't recognise
it, even with drivers installed. I gave it back & got my money back. I have
used the little ones from PC World with no problems except having to instal
the Win '98 drivers, so I suspect its the capacity that is the problem.
