Why can't I play my audio CDS in OSX?

Anybody got any ideas to help me? I have lost the ability to play
audio cds under OSX 10.2 - have I deleted some driver or something
when I transferred my itunes stuff to an external firewire HD? CDROMs
work OK but I get "this dc contains no volumes that OSX can read etc"
messages.

Any advice appreciated.

what 'itunes stuff' did you move? Can you launch iTunes manually?

You asked this same question on a different newsgroup, but you have not
answered my questions there, which basically are the same as Charles
Dyer's - explain what you did. m.
