My 3+ yr-old iBook power-adapter cord is starting to wear at the ***
flex, where the cord goes into the lighted metal plug that plugs into
the power-jack on the computer. Is this a common failure-point? This is
the white, squarish adapter (with the Apple logo) that is also used
(with color variations, ims) with some Powerbooks and other Apple
I'll probably give it a coat of liquid- *** on the flex, just to be
safe. IIRC, I had to junk an old PB adaptor for this reason, as it's a
proprietary, non-replaceable plug.
