xSYM 4 gdb is a set of patches to Apple's gdb that enables the use of
CW generated xSYM debug information with GDB.

Version 0.1 is available from:
http://www.yqcomputer.com/ .

Limitations:
- works with CFM program only
- very slow

Could you give us some more information about the exact changes that
have been made to gdb (this is also a GPL requirement) ? GDB has
built-in xSYM support.

Yes GDB has a lot of code dealing with xSYM support, but it's not
functional in the original Apple version.

My modification includes:
- Added CW9's xSYM format (3.3.3R0) to bfd.
- Added automatic loading of .xSYM files for CFM fragments when gdb
founds it in the GDB_CFM_XSYM_PATH directory.
- Bugfixes.
For exact changes please do a cvs diff.

Provision 2a) of the GPL requires that "You must cause the modified
files to carry prominent notices stating that you changed the files and
the date of any change."

Good work !
