Hi,

http://www.yqcomputer.com/

Okay, essentially this is just the 0.18.2 release but with a couple of
fixes, G Barre's icons added and a sane build system included. I've altered
one .S file to .c (charset.c).

Could someone give it a go at compiling under cgywin and let me know what
you get?

I've applied to Sourceforge now for some space, so should be able to move
over to there soon.

Hi Paul,

Broken symlinks for INSTALL, depcomp, install-sh and missing.

It's a good beginning though.

Hi,

install-sh is more of a pain, but I'll look into.

Thanks - Fabrice has also given his blessing on the change of maintainer and
moving it to sourceforge :-)

The only downside is that he isn't really in any position to help with the
assembler stuff :-(

Does it mean this package is your xeuphoric project ?

Sorry, I didn't really check the archive.

Isn't it a bit strange to rewind the version number -- from 1.0
to 0.19 ?

Last version I could find is 0.19 - I think that was actually part of your
xeuphoric package.

I'm still waiting to hear from sourceforge - which is annoying, but I do
have someone who may be able to help with the assembler to C :-)

Depends how you define "last".

Euphoric and Xeuphoric are different projects. Euphoric was
written by Fabrice Franc. The latest release is 1.0 or 1.0
something, which happened about a year ago.

Xeuphoric is derived from Euphoric 0.99b (circa 1996). The new
code is copyright sincerely yours. Fabrice is not Xeuphoric's
maintainer, I am.

Please accept my profound apologies as I seem to have been under the
misapprehension on that score. I'll correct things at this end.

No harm done. All the code in Xeuphoric 0.18.2, whether it's
Fabrice's or mine, is licenced under the GNU GPL (version 2) so
your are free to reuse part or all of it in your project as long
as you abide to the terms of the GPL. Please just don't
misrepresent your project to be Xeuphoric.

Be warned though, that since Xeuphoric is based on an old
version of Euphoric, it lacks some very nice features like the
de *** .

Yep, definitively something I cannot live without :)
Actually if a fully windows compatible version is done, I can probably work
on the de *** , adding other nice features ;)

For some reason, I can't find the source to Euphoric (I had mistaken
xeuphoric for euphoric!). Could you point me to the latest source? I've
found the binaries, but not the source.
