Graffiti 2 - Capital k's, t's and i's

Graffiti 2 - Capital k's, t's and i's

Under Graffiti 2, I have an impossible time getting capital k's, t's and
i's using the 'traditional input' method. I have marginally greater
success if I write on the screen. Ultimately, more often than not I end
up having to resort to the keyboard entry mode.

Are there any tips or tricks anyone can offer to assist?

The only way I get them is to pay close attention to my strokes and keep
them in the "caps" section of the screen.

If by "traditional input" method you mean using an upstroke before and
after, I expect you are having difficulty. I use a TE and all caps work
very well by writing them in the caps area on the grafiti input area of
the screen. You don't mention what PDA model you are using.

T|3, and I try to focus on writing in the 'caps' area by crossing the line
between alpha and numeric, but at least with respect to k's and i's (less
so t's) it's nigh unto impossible to get the unit to recognize the stroke.
It's sorely tempting to move back to G1.

On my T3 I find that writing caps just a little to the right of centre
helps.

And the "Q" is a monster. I just resort to the "keyboard" on screen.
