6,5 糖?Crystal for ZX 81/TS1x00

Hi,
I just killed my crystal (which ain't a crystal per se but a "Ceramic
Filter") on one of my ZX81s
I know it is possible to replace that with a proper oscillator. Anyone got
a schematic and "proper" parts list.
I have tried to locate the appropriate replacement for that but to no
avail. (My Ceramic filter has no mention of manufacturer or anything
else). I have found two parts from ECS that kinda match (kinda being the
operative word) but I don't know which one would.

Cheers,

Phoebus

Hi Peter,
Would that be a "two-prong" oscillator? I haven't found an equivalent 6.54
MHz oscillator with 3 prongs anywhere.
Would you mind telling me a manufacturer/part no.?

A ceramic resonator is a cheaper substitute for a quartz crystal.

For where you don't need the accuracy of quartz but do need something better
than an RC oscillator.

Pop a quartz crystal in their and you should be fine.

Try 6.5536 MHz, or 6.5 MHz.

I suspect the exact figure is not critical, most TVs should be able to cope
with minor variations.
