excel 2007 paste special can't paste formula

I find a difference in between excel 2007 and 2003 is that when I paste
special > formula > add, the excel 2003 will paste formula into the target
cell but excel 2007 paste only a value. Since in many situation we need a
formula instead a value in modelling, is there any setting or way to resume
this lovely 2003 feature in excel 2007?

Hadn't even noticed that feature! I can only confirm the issue between 2003
and 2007, but equally I cannot find any new setting to change it back

You can paste special formula (right-click paste special, and it is one of
the options in the dialog box), but only if copying from the same instance of
Excel.

I afraid not, the paste special in 2007 can't paste formula if operation such
as add, multiply was used together. It can only paste formula only if no
operation involved, however, it has limited use since we usually need formula
instead of value in modelling.
