You mean a test suite which checks whether a compiler is conform to
the Fortran 90/95 standard? If this was the question: Yes, there are

a) SHAPE95 by Spackman & Hendrickson, Inc.
b) NAG Fortran 95 Test Suite, http://www.yqcomputer.com/
c) Fortran 90 Test Suite, http://www.yqcomputer.com/
d) Fortran 90 Test Suite (Lite), http://www.yqcomputer.com/

Unless you want to buy it as larger institution/company, options (a)
to (c) are probably out of reach due to their price.

GNU Fortran (gcc/gfortran) also comes with a public test suite, but as
it is written to check the compiler and not the standard conformance,
one needs to sort out oneself whether a given test is for a standard
Fortran item or a vendor extension.

Contrary to Fortran 77 there exists no free, compiler-independent
testsuite. And for Fortran 2003 no test suite exists to my knowledge.

What does it mean: "test coverage tools"?

To me, "test coverage" is which TV stations will screen the upcoming
match between two international sports teams (cricket, rugby union,
rugby league, netball, hockey, etc).

I tried to read the web site and found it equally baffling.
It appears to be in English, but I don't understand any of it, even
though I'm a native English speaker.
Methinks this guy lives in a different world........

Are there any test coverage tools for FORTRAN90?

I lacked the morning coffee - and I am lacking a background in
computer science... I am not aware of any test coverage tools for
FORTRAN90, sorry, but $SEARCHENGINE finds:

- Intel's Code Coverage Tool, http://www.yqcomputer.com/
"seamlessly support C, C++ and Fortran languages"

- SUN Studio seems to have the tcov Code Coverage Library

- FCAT: FORTRAN Coverage Analysis Tool
http://www.yqcomputer.com/ ~yifanhu/SOFTWARE/FCAT/README.html

As I have never used any of those, I cannot tell anything about their
quality or features.

To quote from some webpage:

"What Is Test Coverage?
- Finding areas of a program not exercised by a set of test cases
- Creating additional test cases to increase coverage
- Determining a quantitative measure of code coverage, which is an
indirect measure of quality
- Identifying redundant test cases that do not increase coverage"

Have a look at the test coverage tool in my Flibs project - http://www.yqcomputer.com/
- you will need to check out the CVS
repository. (in the app/ subdirectory, documentation is
minimal ;))
