2. Performance C# ADOMD 2.7 slower then VB 6.0 ADOMD 2.7
Hi,
I have written a C# windows service which does the same as an old VB 6.0
executable.
VB 6.0 uses ADODB 2.7 and ADOMD 2.7.
C# uses ADODB 2.7 and ADOMD 2.7 to work with the cellsets. This is because I
can not get ADOMD 2.8 working right (I have references to Interop.ADODB 2.7
and 2.8)!
I think because C# has to communicate to COM it makes my C# version slower
then the VB 6.0 version.
Now I am trying to write the service part that uses ADOMD as an MFC VC++ 6.0
part of code, which I will call in my C# windows service.
Does anybody know how I can improve the performance? I am getting a bit
desperate.
Marco
