Hi All
I am using tkTable to define a table i use.
When i want to set the width of the column the function

$matrix width 1 5 3 10 3 30

works fine for me , but if i try

set a [list 1 5 3 10 3 30]
$matrix width $a

this does not work, any idea?

The documentation says that the width command takes a series of
arguments but you are giving it a single argument that is a list.
There's a big difference between the two.

If you are using tcl 8.5 do this:

$matrix width {expand}$a

if you are using an older version try this:

eval \$matrix width $a
