| - An alternative for listboxes - just draw the items in a canvas

I wouldn't call that widget an alternative for a listbox as-is. The
additional functionality of a Tk listbox (selections, commands etc) is
missing (though a few more bindings should get us close).

Cameron Laird napisaa): >> QOTW: "Tcl and PDA make a glorious couple." -- Richard Suchenwirth

Could someone explain that to me?

I have an MDA 3 (also known as PDA2k) and would love to see Tcl/Tk in
action (especially sockets) on my new PocketPC phone. I got a Mobile
TclKit, it seems to work quite nicely, but I do not have any networking
available, which is very important to me.

Maybe there is an ActiveTcl-like distribution for PocketPC? :-)

While there are some known issues with the PocketPC port,
someone with a little time should be able to solve the last
few nits that are needed to make it really useful. I believe
the socket stuff just has to get a full winsock2 overhaul.
