Anyone having their expectations broken after reading that TIP is
probably being a little bit unfair. I was never going to be able to
satisfy all possible wants without implementing http://www.yqcomputer.com/
first.

Yes, it is way too early for that kind of statement. Things are just
starting to roll and people are just starting to comment.

I dont know, one of the nice things about programming is that
I can forget about things after they work and this tip would
change that.

You'd be OK as long as you remembered that you wanted the program to
work after you'd forgotten about it. The [rmmadwim] command would pick
this up and act accordingly to save its state for later. :-)

Has it also been considered, that sometimes the specifications
are so unclear, that a function rtswmadwhm (read the specification
writer's mind and do what he meant) would be much more useful ...

This, however may be even actually realizable, since their minds
often do not contain all that much to read...

Yes, that's just a trivial lifting of the [rmmadwim] spec itself.
Luckily, it is easy to fix automatically using the following script:
rmmadwim -nocomplain

Hi Donal,
to start this off on the right foot: I don't know shit about OO ;-))

As i remember ( and understood) c.l.t. discussion implementation(TIP257)
was to be the
"Ultimate Universal Connector for OO-Systems to TclCore"

What broke the surface of the sea of silence may well be genius solidified.

But the interfacing parties do seem to be puzzled about which side of this
is their side.

( A Tsunami results from moving invisbly (i.e. under a fluid )
a volume/mass fast from one place to another )

Luckily, that can be simplified to:

{expand}[rmmadwim]

which can in fact be further simplified to:

rmmadwim

I could get the hang of this. :-)

It serves three purposes:
1) Provide a clean OO support for tcllib and other similar pure-Tcl
packages.
2) Nail the silly "Tcl is anti-OO" meme with a fast and powerful set
of nails. :-)
3) Provide a basis on which more sophisticated OO systems can
be built.

Of these, I'd say that the first two are the most important purposes
from the perspective of the TCT. The third is just a get-out clause as
to why I can leave lots of stuff out. :-)

I dunno... I'd still be uncomfortable without a [catch] around that!
