Hi
using fax in xp pro .i fax an invoice, the recipient
recieves the fax ok except for little square ,empty boxes
in between sentences.( sorry if the question is a bit
vague but maybe somebody can relate to it)any ideas why
this is so? any help greatly appreciated.

Still need the answer to my question. You told me nothing.
State:
1. File type
2. All the steps used to fax.

You can't "paste" into Windows XP Fax.

I agree it would be nice to know what the problem and the solution turned
out to be. From what little I could tell, I suspect the problem was with the
method used to send the fax. The usual solution to a problem with loss of
formatting while faxing is to use the Print To Fax command for sending the
fax so that the rendering of the document can be handled by the application
designed to do so. Fax software has very little to no native rendering
capability.

the reason i"rushed" as you put it because there was a
tragedy in the family and did not feel the best .
as i posted ,sorry to inconvenience you all .at least i
had the curtesy to reply.
how the problem was fixed was by my friend unistalling ,
re-installing windows fax.thats all i know .( this
problem was posted on his behalf).andas i previously
stated, due to tragedy combinating with the writing of
the problem , i left in a hurry.
