Hi. One of our employees uses Outlook 24/7 simply b/c he does not like
OWA. He is using a non-domain laptop and when he needs to connect to our
business, he just connects through a vpn client. he tried adding his
exchange account to his outlook 2003 and it keeps giving him connection
errors. he walks through the normal steps of adding an exchange acount.
when he clicks "Check name" it underlines everything and connects
normally. now, when he opens outlook, outlook takes a good 10 seconds to
load. when outlook finally does load, and he clicks on "Mailbox - HIs
Name", he gets this error: "the set of folders could not be opened."
This error usually appears if the OST or PST file you are using is
unavailable, protected with file permissions, on a share on a server and
the network is down, or corrupt.
I have no clue what the problem is. Any help would be greatly
appreciated! Thank you!
