Hi,
We are planning to deploy e2K in out environment. Currently we are using Office 2000. A scan of our network shoowed various versions of outlook clients running. My questions:
1) What is the difference between outlook service release and service pack. Is SR2 same as SP2.
2) What is the minnimum requirement for a Outlook client to connect to the exchange 2000 server.
3) I did a Help -> About for all the outlook versions and here is what i have, which ones are compatible with E2K
1.0, 0, 1
8.0
8.02
8.03
8.04
8.5
9.0.2416
9.0.6604
10.0.2616
10.0.2627
10.0.3311
10.0.3416
10.0.4024
10.0.4510
10.0.5709
10.0.6626
11.0.5510

Thanks,
CH

1) "Service release" means a full release that stands on its own, not an
update. But otherwise, they mean the same.

2) The minimum system requirements listed at
http://www.yqcomputer.com/ + connectivity
to the Exchange server, the more bandwidth the better.

3) All Outlook versions are basically compatible with all versions of
Exchange. The latest versions always have a better feature match, of course,
and you should keep up to date on service packs. There was no Outlook
1.0.0.1, BTW.
