Create Outlook COM add-ins in Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition

Hi, everyone,

I'm really confused! According to the documentation of Microsoft I
should be able to create an Outlook COM Add-in project with Visual
Basic 2005. But I didn't find the item in the project templates.

Can someone tell me what's wrong?

regards

Lucia

Did you look in Other Project Types, Extensibility, Shared Add-in? That's
what you have to use. Follow the wizard steps after you select to create
that type of addin and just leave Outlook checked as the target application.

Hi, Ken,

thanks a lot for you help.

Actually I don't have any of these project types like extensibility or
shared add-in. What I have is windows application, class library,
console application, film collection and screen saver.

Do I need professional edition for that ?
