Contacts sync fine, then PC died...new PC will not sync PDA contacts

Help!

I have an Hp IPAQ rz1715 with windows mobile 2002. I installed an was using
it to sync my contacts, appts, and inbox from Outlook. One day the PC died
(IPAQ not connected). New PC purchased, Activesync and Outlook installed
and configured. Inbox syncs fine with IPAQ. However, (and most
importantly) Contacts, Calendar and Tasks will not sync. I would guess
there is a communication setting that is different with the new PC. Can
anyone help?! Wasn't the purpose of buying a PDA to "back-up" your
Contacts?

Thanks,

Dr. Dave

Hi,

Have you tried running Detect & Repair feature available under the Help menu
in Outlook to scan the pst file. Additionally, you can also try running the
Scanpst utility to check for any corruption in the PST file (the file that
stores your Outlook data). Search for scanpst.exe on your computer.

You will need to run it against the .pst file. If you are unable to locate
the path of the .pst file, do the following:

1. Open Outlook.
2. Click File -> Data File Management
3. This should list all the PST files that are present. Click Open Folder
and you should find the storage path of your *.pst file.
