What is "pocket pc edition"? I know about the following:

Pocket PC

Pocket PC 2002
Smartphone 2002

Pocket PC 2003
Pocket PC 2003 SE
Smartphone 2003

Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC
Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone Edition
Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone

Windows Mobile 6 Classic
Windows Mobile 6 Professional
Windows Mobile 6 Standard

For code I use for related compile-time switches, see my 2 April 2004
contribution to a thread called "Compiler Directive" in this group.

Are you sure a compile time decision will work? Not all features are
set by platform, so a run time check is sometimes required.

This seems like the wrong approach. I know at least some IDEs keep a
separate list of folders for each platform. So changing specified
target changes the list of folders searched for include files. No
reason for the code to worry about such details.
