username doesn't resolve

I have Exchange 2000 running on a Windows 2000 server.

I had recently disabled a user account. Her Supervisor needs to verify the
user emails.
I went into active directory users and computers and unchecked the lock.
I shared the mailbox to her supervisor. I tried to add the user mailbox to
her supervisor outlook and it could not resolve that name in outlook. IT says
the username doesnot exist in active directory.

I am able to open outlook only from the terminal in which the user was
working before she got fired.

Kindly help me .

A disabled account does not prevent a different user getting into the
mailbox so long as permissions exist. Have you hidden the user from,
the address list as well? that would prevent the user from resolving
and adding the mailbox to their outlook profile as well.
