I have an SBS 2003 server SP2. I am using activesync to sync to Windows
Mobile devices. All of a sudden on the handhelds it is only downloading a
small part of the emails and I found the error in the App log Event ID 3005
HTTP 409 error. The partial messages are not due to a setting on the phone
(ie download partial message). I did change the default smtp name but that
was a month ago and this error just came up recently. Any ideas???

There should be an error message on the phone itself in Activesync. What do
you mean by "change the default SMTP name" ? Note thatl since you're using
SBS, you need to do pretty much everything with the wizards.
