Can't use Voice Command to dial/type voice mail password?

Post by nospa » Thu, 02 Mar 2006 10:24:56

I am a new MS Voice Command user. It works great when I say "Call Voice
Mail". But then I have to manually type my voice mail username and
password. Is there a way to use Voice Command for that? Voice Command
seems to shut-off after dialing the initial number, and I can't turn it
on again until after the call is completed.

Pocket PC Windows Mobile 5, Verizon XV6700.

Add 5 commas after the voice mail access number followed by your voicemail
name and password.
i.e:
999-999-9999 , , , , , 888-888-8888# ,, 7777#
where 999 is the voice mail access number
888 is my phone number/voice mail account followed by a pound sign
7777 is my password, again followed by a pound sign.

You may need to fiddle with the commas but it works really well to push that
little button and say "Call Voice Mail" while driving down the road.

The comma is pretty universal for a 2 second dialing pause.

Should be... but some phones need a "p" instead... if the commas don't
work, try the same with "p's" in place of the commas.

My phone the Sprint PPC-6700 will allow you to bypass entering in a password
for your v/m. You have to set it up through the v/m system.
