That's because DirectAnimation is dead, and has been for all too long. I
can't recall off hand an answer to your question, are you sure Direct
Animation is the best solution to your problem? It's very old, and very
badly supported.

hi !!
when using the structured graphics library with scripts, i cant find any
api to capture key events ( except for along with mouse events for keys
shift, alt .ctrl).
can anyone help me out in this issue as i need to capture both key and mouse
events while using this SGL.

a lot of things are possible using directanimation. web 3d can be
implemented using the direct animation api.. all it needs is directx 6
or above.. i dont know what kind of replacement ms has provided after
drawing back the support.
but for interactive web3d .. i need to capture key events
too............ can u help me regarding this.
