Hi,

in Data Source Library I created database connection to SQL Server and
new data set related to this connection. Now I want to show data from
my dataset in form of chart. How can I do that?

If you are using WSS 2.0 or SPS 2003 (you don't say which of the many SP
products you are using) you can use the Pivot Chart web part that comes with
the Office web parts set. That will take data directly from SQL Server and
create charts from it.

Key is which version of SharePoint you are using - not whether you are using
SPD 2007 or not ...

The download is here

http://www.yqcomputer.com/

again, it's for WSS 2.0 and SPS 2003

And I don't think I can use Pivot Chart web part in SPS 2007...

That indeed is what the quoted sentence means.

I wouldn't have needed the IF it it worked in anything else than WSS 2.0 or
SPS 2003, would I ?

P.S. The name isn't "SPS 2007" it's MOSS 2007.

Yes, you are right. Sorry... But I still didn't get any answer to my
question. Can you please help me how to determine which version of
MOSS 2007 is installed on machine, and after that I kindly ask you to
help me to show some charts on web pages?

Dundas Chart is a commercial product you could use (see
http://www.yqcomputer.com/ %20FAQ/DispForm.aspx?ID=1016)

I don't know how to determine which version of MOSS is installed. Sorry.
