Custom Document Library template in a custom Area

I am trying to create a custom document library template
and make it available as part of a custom area template.
In my custom area, I have copied the DOCLIB folder to
MYDOCLIB and modified onet.xml to show the document
library. I also modified the AllItems.aspx file. When I go
to Manage Content to create the new document library, the
template is available but the AllItems.aspx page view that
is created does not match the one that I modified. Rather,
it looks like the original. Does anyone know how to do
this? What file is really the source that SharePoint uses
to create the AllItems.aspx view?
