I would some help editing my sharepoint 2002 sites with
front page 2002. Can anyone get me off to the right start?

Be very careful. (and always take backups before you do)

1. Always edit pages via the web site not the page in the file system

2. Never amend upload.htm in FP

3. Try to only do simple amendments (adding images; right-clicking on top
page lists and amending the fields) rather than more complicated stuff
(amending the menu etc.)

4. Don't try adding new links (to the left-hand-menu) in FP, they won't be
visible in STS.

5. Don't add a new menu item (menu line) at first position. There's a bug
and it will mess up your site.

That's all I can think of for now ...

Wuld you also know about how a sub web is setup?
I know how to start the SharePoint wizard in the admin page
but don' know what to call the new sub web or what folder
to use?
any other info on this would be wonderful.
