I've done this before and I can't understand why it doesn't go through:

I am trying to push to patches to XP and Win2K machines. I created the
package, adverti *** t and targeted "Pilot" collection.

I go to System Satus/Adverti *** t Satus and my SUSFP-WinXPPaatch060204
there, received, failures and all other counters = 0.

I go to my respective machine name, attempt to go to Control Panel and
manually launch the advertised program. But I see only security scan tool
advertised... the package that I created is unavailable.
What am I missing here ? How can I troubleshoot this ?

Sounds like the system isn't seeing the Adverti *** t you have setup. What
is the APM poling cycle set to in your SMS Administrator's console?

Thanks. Had to get MS involved and it turned out to be a crash on executive
service. It is working now.
