Sql 2000 connect fine in Win 2000, but not in Win server 2003

I have a web application which uses SQLOLEDB for connecting SQL server 2000
database (sp4). The application server and database server both runs on Win
2000.
strConn = "Provider=SQLOLEDB; "
strConn = strConn & "Data Source=PC; "
strConn = strConn & "Initial Catalog=ABC; "
strConn = strConn & "User Id=test; "
strConn = strConn & "Password=test"
The application works in Window 2000, however, after the OS (for both
servers) have changed to Window server 2003. I tried to run the web
application, I have the following error:
"SQL Server does not exist or access denied. "
The interesting thing is that the application works fine if both application
and database are installed in the same server.
Can anyone help me on this?

Hi all,

Thanks Josh. I finally figure out why. All I need to do is install Window
2003 sp 1 and it solve the problem.

Thanks everyone.
