Does it have to be vbscript rather than vb 6? You could save yourself a lot
of trouble by creating whatever you want to do as a package in the DTS
Designer, and saving it to Visual Basic. This will create your package code
in VB with the correct data typing. You just need to add references that
point to the DTS libraries. You could then execute it from a VB app, or
compile it into a DLL, and then calling the DLL from a vbscript.
