DTS failing with "Logon failed: MapiLogonEx Failed due to MAPI err

We have a request by a non-sa user to schedule/run a job(which executes a dts
package), which exports data to an excel spreadsheet and then emails said
spreadsheet via an exchange server. If we open the dts package and execute
it, it runs. If we log into the sql server as the SQL Agent Proxy account,
and execute the job(remotely), then it runs. If we are not logged into the
SQL box, then the job will not run. The spreadsheet is created no matter
what, but it does not get emailed.

The error we receive states:
Executed as user: %ouruser%. DTSRun: Loading... DTSRun: Executing...
DTSRun OnStart: DTSStep_DTSSendMailTask_2 DTSRun OnError:
DTSStep_DTSSendMailTask_2, Error = -2147220352 (80040480) Error string:

We installed outlook 2003 on all of our SQL boxes, and configured a mail
profile for our SQLService account. This works fine in notifying us of failed
jobs etc.

We logged in as our SQL Agent Proxy account and created a mail profile for
it as well, but as stated above, this does not work, unless the account is
logged in when we run the job.

I have tried naming both the SQLService account and SQL Agent Proxy accounts
mail profiles the same, and it still doesn work. I have tried naming the
profiles differently, and only the SQLService profile appears when adding the
Send Mail Task. I have tried a disconnected edit of the dts package to change
the name of the profile to the SQL Agent Proxy account, and it still doesn
work.

Our SQL Agent Proxy account has og on as a batch jobrights, and also has
modify permissions to the C:\Documents and Settings\%SQLService%\Local
Settings\Temp directory.

Our SQL Server is 2000 Standard edition(Service Pack 3a hot fix 818). It is
installed on a Windows 2003 server(SP1).

Not sure what else we can do or try.. Any help?

2. Fedora: fail Mint: fail OpenSuse: fail Ubuntu: fail Windows 7: success Windows Vista: success

"All current Linux versions I've tried with new kernels simply won't
install at all, the install fails virtually before it even starts.
Ubuntu 9.10 (2.6.31), 10.04, Fedora, Mint, OpenSuse, all fail. Just some
CD activity and then they stop with a blank screen.

Although Suse gets further, with a screen of coloured blocks. It must be
a bug they have introduced in later kernels. My hardware is very
standard, although I do see other people have problems with the ASUS P5Q
series. Windows 7, Vista needless to say install and work flawlessly. It
is enough to put you off Linux altogether. Anyway, 8.10 does the job.
10.04 is nice, I have it on another machine, but on this one, just
impossible."

If a failure to install isn't enough to put you off Linux, successfully
installing and using it will be.
