You should use the Neutral word breaker for Russian.

There are no Russian Word Breakers that I am aware of.
modules for FTS Rssian search in our country costs about
300$ per 1 processor licency - it's very difficult to
explain boss, that we need more money for server, that
already have been bought.

Yes, I know it. I use neutral language before start population. It all works. But when I use CONTAINS with russian text only in it server respond that thre is only noise words.

You have to set up SQL Server for the russian language -
did you set your regional settings for Russian?

Then you also have to put a session.codepage=1049 at the
top of your web page if you are using Russian.
