2. Is DOS used by anyone professionally anymore and are there any DOS jobs

Partition Magic still uses some kind of DOS. I forgot which one. I
think it is Caldera.

Besides for Ghost, Symantec also use DOS for their offline AntiVirus
recover disks, at least for the (NAV) 2002 version. It doesn't
understand NTFS, so it's only for the Windows versions which are
FAT-only.

Hewlett-Packard also had PC backup software, I think it was called
AutoBackup, which used some kind of DOS for the crash recover part. I
think it is no longer a current product.
