Upgrading from SQL 2005 Express to full SQL 2005

Question
I am trying to upgrade from SQL 2005 Express to full SQL 2005 using the
command line option. Also, install a new full SQL 2005 using the command line.

I am using the same command line parameters, to upgrade, that I use to
successfully install a new SQL 2005 Express, without success.

According to Microsoft they both should accept the same command line
parameters.

I have a script to validate a genuine Microsoft SQL 2005 setup.exe and then
pass the command line.

Microsoft claim the sa can be passed to the full SQL 2005 setup.exe (as I
have done with the SQL 2005 Express successfully) but I feel this is the
where it is failing.

It is possible to use the GUI to input the same parameters (type in the sa)
and this works but we do not want to expose the sa password.

Example:

/qn ADDLOCAL=SQL_Engine SECURITYMODE=SQL INSTANCENAME=MYINSTANCE
SQLBROWSERAUTOSTART=1 SAPWD=%sa% DISABLENETWORKPROTOCOLS = 0

Can anyone provide assistance please?
