Hi,

I use WebDAV to create automatic appointments in employee`s calenders but i
don`t want them to change the appointment date. Is it possible to prevent
this and make appointment date static?
I don`t want to use a second or public calender.

Thanks
Kenan

Hello,

the only option I see here is to change the security descriptor on that
items - Exchange 2000/2003 supports this.

You can use WebDAV to do this - see the examples in the Exchange SDK.

Other option is to use my InfiniTec.Exchange package (it's free, including
source code). That code can set security descriptors on items
( http://www.yqcomputer.com/ ).

Best regards,

Hi,

Thanls but Security Desc.s are very different topic for me. Would you
please tell me which desc. I can update and how.
I also checked your codes. To update them with your code, you still need
to know the item i think. Would you please give a bit more information.

Thanks

Hello,

when you create the appointment, you have the item.

You can then set the security descriptor, and remove the permission of the
owner of the mailbox from the item.
