If MDI Parent Form contains picture box, then MDI Child does not display in
VB-6, any idea please ?

That's because... an MDI parent form can hold only controls that are either
invisible at runtime (like a Timer/Common Dialog) or expose an Align
property (like the Picturebox). When you drop a control that has an align
property, you take screen real-estate away from the MDI parent and the child
forms will show only in the available real estate.

You can get rid of the picturebox using code like this....

Paints the background of MDI forms with any sort of graphic, pattern, or
color you choose
