navigating dataset in webpage

I have been trying to cobble together code for navigating through a dataset
in an ASP.Net web project. I was successful in doing Next, Previous, etc. My
latest requirement is to be able to go to a record based on a criteria. For
instance a stock number, which I was able to accomplish using the dataset
find method. Next I had to search for a text string, like "Reebok". I found I
had to use the FindRows method to accomplish this. Just as I was about to
breathe a sigh of relief, I discovered that it found the row only if this was
the only word in that column. If their are multiple words like "Reebok
sneakers", it returns no rows found. If anyone has an idea, I am on a
deadline, and unfortunately may end my job if this is not accomplished. I
will appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks

You might want to repost your question in one of the .NET groups:

It might be worth trying wildcards around the string to get the database to
return rows which *contain* the specified text in the specified column.
Instead of using "Reebok" you could try "%Reebok%". Only a guess - I've
never used .NET or FindRows. Good luck.
