Text-based email client for MS Exchange?

Hi,

I'd like to know if there is a text-based (read dos alike) email
client for Ms Exchange. You know, instead of using Outlook, you open
a DOS window and you type something like "mail" and you read your
mail...

Thanks.

Yeah, get a POP3 application and use that. Get one from about 700
years ago and I'm sure you'll find one. Have a chat with a Linux geek,
they're sure to have one that's as ugly and pointless and complex as
you want.

Personally I design solutions for customers that have rich content and
features. If I wanted to give them *** I'd give them PROFS or
something.

If you can find an older Exchange version CD you'll find a text-based DOS
client for Exchange on it. I'm not sure with what version this was
abandoned.

I use a Text based mail client on a Linux Server I administer. The
application is called Pine. I have never tried to connect it to anything
other than a local Sendmail Deamon but it may be worth playing with.
