Permanetly shut down Ex5.5 servers in Ex2003 Environment

Post by Christophe » Wed, 10 May 2006 00:56:19

Ive seen the posts on removing the "last exchange 5.5 server in a 2003
environment" but I dont know if I would follow the same steps if I need
to shut down 3 exchange 5.5 servers now that Ive migrated all users to
the new Exchange 2003 server we have.

I guess I need to make sure that the Public folders are migrated too
somehow, anyone have a how to on that? and then also the steps for
shutting down the 3 Exchange 5.5 servers?

Thanks in advance.

you can use the pfmigrate.wsf script to report how many folders are not
listed as replicas on your Exchange 2003 Public Folder server.
