Why can't I see some shapes in Drawing Exporer window?

Post by U3RlcGhlbi » Sat, 25 Mar 2006 09:50:01

I have a shape called Sheet.40 (Name and ID) that I can't see in Drawing
Window Explorer and when I iterate through Shapes on the page and try to
select it, it says that it is locked against selection.

Is Sheet.40 an object that represents the page object or some such thing
that I haven't yet learnt?!!

or is there always a shape that is locked because it had the focus - I don't
think so.

Has anyone got any clues please?
Thanks
Stephen

No, it is not the truth.
To put shape into such a state you must work hard for three steps.
1 turn the values of all NoShow cells into True.
2 turn value of LockSelect cell into true.
3 turn value of "protect drawing" property into true on the drawing explorer.

But, it is easy to find such a shape, you could track back the steps.
1. Open drawing explorer.
2. Unlock the protection by right click on the drawing name.
3. Show the handle of the shape by right click on the shape, sheet.40.
4. Show the shapesheet by selecting the menu to show the shaped\sheet.
5. Find the cells that makes the shape unseen, and unlock them.
Please note that a white line and white paint are also unseen.
