ADC deleted Exchange Service account deleted??

Post by H » Thu, 29 Jan 2004 17:26:50

Hi,

I have a testbed with a fresh install of W2K AD. The
forest consists of 2 domains and an Exchange 5.5 server in
each domain. I have configured a two-way Recipients
Connector Agreement, ADC. Upon replication, the Exchange
Service NT Account is deleted. It also happens to be the
account I was logged in with. This occurs in both
domains. Does ADC delete NT accounts? Why is this
happening? Help?

Thanks
H

ADC doesn't delete accounts (uless it cretaed them as a disabled mail place
holder.)
It will however, rename the display name to match the mailbox they are
associated with...
Look at the pre-windows 2000 logon names of your accounts to verify as these
will not change.
