Dual Boot Win 98 &W2K - How to remove Win 98?

I have Win 98 on C: drive and W2K installed on another partition ,
(G:) , of the the same Hard Drive in a Dual Boot arrangement

How do I remove Win 98 from this setup and , when removed will W2K
boot OK even if its not on the C: drive ?

Finally , if the answer to the above question is "Yes" , how would I
then change W2K to the C drive ?

Removing W98 is easy enough, you can just delete the folder where it
resides while you are in Windows 2000, and remove its reference in the
boot.ini file. Moving the Windows 2000 installation is next to
impossible, at least not if you want to keep a reliable installation.
You will have to install W2K on the C drive if you want it there.

Moving Win2000 to your first partition can be done but is tricky,
as John mentioned. You would have to ensure that it continues
to use drive letter G:, even though it runs off the first partition.
I would not recommend it unless you had strong reasons for
doing so, well developed PC skills and a lot of patience.
