Eventid 1030 and Eventid 1058 appear on client PCs applcation log

Hi
I have Windows XP and Windows 2000 client PCs logging onto a small business
2000 server. Everytime the client logs on, we get the following event ids in
the event viewer of the client PCs: Eventid: 1030 Source: Userenv - Windows
cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects and eventid: 1058 Source:
Userenv - Windows cannot access teh file gpt.ini for GPO CN = {31B...}
They can work away as normal but the events keep appearing in the
application log in event viewer.
Any ideas why these appear?
Regards
Sean

See tip 7983 Your Active Directory clients record event IDs 1030 and 1058?
in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.yqcomputer.com/

See tip 5168 Group policies are NOT applied as expected on Windows XP, and the Application Event log contains Event ID 1058 and Event ID 1030?
