Winodws 2000 Video Memory Requirements

Post by Eugene Kwa » Mon, 05 Jan 2004 14:27:47

I currently am running Windows ME on a Sony PCG-F630 and I
am thinking of upgrading to Windows 2000. Could anyone
please tell me how much video memory is required for
Windows 2000. I have searched Microsoft's site for any
information but I couldn'find any.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Eugene

Windows 2000 doesn't have any specific video memory requirements; if
it's VGA or better it should be supported.

The Sony VAIO PCG-F630 has a Trident *** Blade i7 XGA graphics
adapter.

Both the laptop and the graphics adapter are listed on the Windows
2000 hardware compatibility list, which can be checked here :-

You should have no problems upgrading to Windows 2000.
