free/busy is unavailable: please help!!

Post by Jeff » Sat, 21 Feb 2004 12:04:24

Our environment: Outlook 2000 and Exchange 2000.
3 mailbox stores, 1 public store, 2 storage groups.
Some users in one Store can not update their free/busy
and unable to see the info. These users in this Store
were reconnected with mbconn two month ago. Users in
other stores do n ot have a problem with free/busy.
MS advise to check LegasyExchangeDN and change DN
delimiters to low case letters (after using mbconn) ;EN-
US;286783 -
it does not work , I have tried, our Exchange org. in
native mode and was not upgraded from 5.5 - just stright
install in 2000 AD.
Also all Outlook fixes do not work either.
May be somebody has any advise?
Thank you very much in advance,

Jeff... a few questions/suggestions:

1. Did ANY user on that "problem" store EVER work?
2. If you create two test users with mailboxes on that store, can they see
each other's free/busy times?
3. Try to republish free/busy info using teh CleanFrssBusy switch .. see ;EN-US;197180

4. Not sure if this is relevant, but please see ;en-us;197266
5. Also, this web cast would help in future problems.. :) ;en-us;325505
