Yes, you can; base FormB on a Query using

=Forms!FormA!txtThing

as a criterion on the Thing field.

Using data on form A to control form B's results

Post by YXJrZXRla2 » Fri, 14 May 2004 22:31:03

Thank you, however I'm either not understanding what to do or I didn't explain it right the first time.

I have FormA and FormB, Form A consists of 12 choices which are tables, I want form B to use the table information chosen from FormA. I tried putting what you said in Form B where it says Record Source. Maybe this wasn't the right place? Should I be using it in the Macro? Can you tell I'm new to this?!

If it helps you can email me directly and I can send you what I'm doing. I have the database working however I have a form for each of the 12 tables and I know I shouldn't have to do that, I want just one form that will call on whichever table's information you select from form A.

THANKS!!!
